Finding Your Harmony with Chloe Wigan

Recently we decided that we needed to hear more from those inspiring women that live harmonious lives every single day.

People who inspire us and motivate us to find happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

We want to know how they do it and what advice they can offer us.

We recently had a chat to Chloe Wigan from One Infinite Life!

Chloe is a Certified Life Coach and writer with a background in psychology, and her mission is to help women in their 20s transcend what they think is possible for them.

What are some of the ways you make your day-to-day life more harmonious?

I try to bring more ease into my daily life by getting clear on what’s really important. I think sometimes we get really caught up in living on autopilot and filling our days to the brim because we think we have to, so I try to bring more harmony into my life by scheduling in things that are important to me, saying no when I need to, and not over-filling my days or weeks.

I endeavour to take exceptional care of myself on a daily basis by doing at least one thing for myself that feels nourishing and supporting before I start work or have to show up for my clients, having mini breaks throughout my day to recharge, giving myself permission to slow down when I need to and making sure I have some downtime and relaxation at the end of each day.

How do you stay creative and inspired about the things you do every day?

Honestly, I don’t feel creative or inspired all the time!

When I am feeling inspired, I roll with it and try to make the most of the energy by doing lots of writing, immersing in a project, and get into get-stuff-done more.

And on the other hand, when I’m feeling uninspired I step away as much as I can and turn my attention to focusing on what feels good, fun and rejuvenating. Usually when I’m feeling uninspired it’s because I’m burnout or overwhelmed, so it’s a good reminder to tune back into what I need, take time out to rest and recharge and to focus on filling myself up again.

When I’m feeling uninspired but need to show up anyway, I find that spending a little time anchoring back into my bigger ‘why’ for doing the things I do everyday gives me a spark that helps me to keep going.

What was your biggest learning/growth experience in the past year?

There’s been so many learnings in my life from the past year, but the one that stands out the most — and that I keep being forced to relearn — is that in order to do my best work and show up in my life as my best self I need to do so from a full cup.

I’ve found that in order to do the things I want to do (in the way I want to do them), I need to take exceptional care of myself. This approach has revolutionised the way I approach my work and my entire life — it really has changed everything for me.

How do you stay focused on the things that are important (love, happiness) and not be distracted by all the drama that goes on around us?

Great question! For me it constantly comes back down to checking in with myself about what’s really important. It’s so easy to get caught up in the things that aren’t important to us, so I find that I continually need to check in with myself and reevaluate what’s serving me, what’s not and what’s actually really important. Based on these insights, I make conscious decisions about how I show up in my life, who I spend my time with, and how I spend my days.

What’s the biggest thing that people can do right now to create more harmony in their life?

Ask yourself: What’s really important? Then, look at how you’re currently spending your time and evaluate if it really aligns to what’s actually important to you. This always helps me to work out what is and isn’t serving me, so I can let go of things that aren’t (where I can), or I can try approaching things in a different way.

What are your goals for the future? What have you got planned for this year?

The current goal I’m working on this year is the creation of a digital workbook to accompany the next round of The 28 Day Gratitude Project, which will be launching in October. This has been one of my major focuses for this year and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.
